From humble beginning in Barrio Libjo, Infanta, Quezon Victorino Villanueva Ruanto rose to become an illustrious son of this town serving his beloved hometown in various capacities as a public servant. Born to poor parents Rufino and Sinfrosa Villanueva on November 02, 1899, Victorino Ruanto spent his early life in the barrio. Growing up a handsome man-a person of very strong character and charismatic personality, he finished schooling in Munoz, Nueva Ecija by that time, the family had transferred in the Poblacion where the ancestral home was built along Gen. Luna Street.
 For him education-knowledge was very important.  Learning was a continuous process for a person to developed and be prepared for life.  He must be educated. With this in mind, and as a very young teacher, he left for Davao in the island of Mindanao where he became a Municipal teacher from 1923-1926. Read More
